THE CONCEPT
The Éxodo story began in early 2011 in Guanajuato, Mexico, with a celebration and gathering of friends and family, where Mr. Juan Carlos Hector encountered a custom tequila unlike any he’d tasted in the United States—imbued with characteristic smoothness and unique flavors.
Bringing a few bottles back home, he hosted a dinner and shared them with his friends where he received an overwhelming response on its unique flavor profile and refined quality of tequila. This propelled his enthusiasm and efforts to learn the traditional methods that are used in the industry. He was committed to best practices from seed to bottle, spending time in the fields with generational farmers, and learning from master craftsmen, thus resulting in the establishment of Exodo Tequila, a testament to an inspirational and flavorful journey that started in the heart of Mexico.
